Personal Statement

Delving into the depths of the natural and microscopic you will find a world of fascinating beauty. The mysterious and the curious merge to form a complex pattern of the organic and the architectural. These fragments of hidden detail provide a platform of inspiration for Stacey Whale's award winning, innovative and original pieces of contemporary jewellery.

Using a variety of precious stones and lenses, Stacey creates a wide range of high quality male and female jewellery, handcrafted in gold and silver which breathes an originality not seen in today's mass-produced and overly branded culture. Among her signature pieces are Stacey's lens jewellery which employs her innovative and highly original technique of sealing gems and other objects under a carefully polished lens magnifying the precious contents encased within.

Stacey's variety of techniques with a distinct style of craftsmanship provides a refined balance of strong architectural lines and soft organic shapes and textures, to create a piece of wearable art that is beautiful, functional, and visually intriguing enticing you to take a closer look.
